The Montreal Impact of Major League Soccer have started their 4th season in the MLS. The Impact unfortunately suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of D.C. United days after coming off probably one of the most nail biting games ever in team history against Mexican side Pachuca whom the Impact defeated by virtue of scoring more away goals.

That quarterfinal game last Tuesday was one for the ages for Montreal soccer fans and here they are again 2 games away from the Champions League finals. The Impact play Costa Rican club Alajuelense in the semi finals with their home game on March 18th. 

I'm definitely looking forward to this game as the Impact continue to make Canadian soccer history. One piece of bad news for the Impact is that star player Justin Mapp was injured in the league game this past weekend. Mapp sufferred a broken elbow and will be out about 4 months, we wish him well! 

As for the game next Wednesday... Let's go Impact!
